Cromwell’s origins lie in the heart of the UK where founder Michael Gregory opened the company’s very first premises in Leicester in 1970. From the smallest of beginnings, Cromwell has grown to become one of the world’s largest industrial supplies companies with operations in over 50 countries.
Since the opening of our first 800 sq metre warehouse in Jet Park, Johannesburg, in 1997, Cromwell South Africa has gone from strength to strength. By the end of 2005, the operation covered two separate warehouses and employed 12 staff before a move to an impressive 2,000 sq metre warehouse. Today the company stocks over 18000 line items locally and remains firmly committed to ensuring customers enjoy high quality products at highly competitive prices.
